Benefits in industrial circulating water treatment and processes

Depending on site water quality, contamination, gas used and operating conditions, it can be used for pipe and circulating water management and process improvement. Actual effects vary with the target process and operating conditions.

Pipe & circulating water management

Nanobubble water repeatedly circulated through tanks and pipes can be used to manage circulating water quality and fouling inside pipes.

Supports cleaning processes

The cleaning properties of nanobubble water can be applied as a supporting technology for equipment, parts and surface cleaning.

Gas dissolution in processes

Gases suited to the purpose can be used for oxygen transfer, oxidation and other gas–liquid contact processes.

For industrial circulation treatment and cleaning processes

Nanobubbles are applied by circulation after checking target water and tank/piping conditions. Gas and detailed configuration are set by the application.

When HQN-S020 is a good fit

  • Sites that want to apply nanobubbles while circulating water through tanks or pipes
  • When adding a nanobubble system to existing piping or water treatment processes
  • When air, oxygen, nitrogen or ozone is being considered for the process purpose
  • When an industrial system with about 20 m³/h circulation flow is needed

When prior review is needed

  • If pipes are physically blocked by solids or fibers, the cause of blockage and pipe condition are checked first
  • If mineral scale is the main cause, scale composition and precipitation conditions are reviewed together
  • If high concentrations of grease or sludge flow in continuously, a process configuration including pre-treatment is reviewed
  • If ozone nanobubbles are used, ozone concentration, wetted-part materials, exhaust and safety conditions are reviewed

HQN-S020 FAQ

Answers to key technical and adoption questions when considering HQN-S020.

What can HQN-S020 be used for?

It can be applied to pipe and circulating water management, industrial cleaning, water treatment, oxygen transfer and gas dissolution processes.

Suitable gases and operating conditions are reviewed after checking the target water and process purpose.

Can it be used on domestic wastewater piping?

It can be considered for any tank and piping system that can be circulated.

The circulation method and operating conditions are set after checking contaminant type, inflow characteristics, piping structure and the cause of blockages.

Can it clear pipe blockages?

Applicability depends on the cause and condition of the blockage.

Causes vary, including organic deposits, sediment, solids, fibers and mineral scale, so the target contaminants and pipe conditions are checked first; severe physical blockages may require separate removal or pre-treatment.

Do I need to replace existing equipment entirely?

The system is added using existing tanks and circulation piping.

Suction and discharge connection points, pipe sizes, valves, power and installation space are reviewed for each site.

Which gases can be used?

Air, oxygen and nitrogen can be used, and ozone is optional.

Gas supply equipment, wetted-part materials and safety configuration are reviewed according to gas type and target concentration.

How is the pump selected?

It is selected based on required flow, head, pipe losses and operating conditions.

The treatment flow is 20 m³/h; pump model and power are determined by site piping and required pressure.

Are there models with larger or smaller flows than HQN-S020?

Various HQN models can be configured depending on application flow and operating conditions.

We propose a suitable model after checking water volume, tank capacity, piping conditions and application.

Can ozone nanobubbles also be used?

It can be configured with an ozone specification.

The ozone-ready configuration is designed after checking ozone concentration, wetted-part materials, exhaust, residual ozone and worker safety conditions.

Tell us your site conditions and we will review a suitable configuration. Send us your application, treatment flow, target water and tank/piping conditions, and we will review HQN-S020 application conditions and a quote.
