Frequently Asked Questions
Are research paper results the performance of Honour Tech products?
Research paper results are general findings on the properties and effects of nanobubbles.
Research papers serve as reference evidence for understanding how nanobubble technology works and where it can be applied; performance data for Honour Tech products are presented separately as in-house test and field demonstration results.
Honour Tech clearly distinguishes its in-house tests and field demonstrations from research papers. Research results are used as reference evidence for understanding the technology's potential and mechanisms, while product performance is evaluated on in-house tests and field demonstrations carried out on the system concerned.
How were the studies selected?
We selected studies with clear test conditions and methods whose results can be traced to evidence.
We include peer-reviewed academic papers and public research reports, and exclude corporate promotional material. Key review points are the research purpose, gas used, nanobubble generation conditions, comparison basis, measurement method and information needed to judge reproducibility. We prioritize data that show actual measurements and comparison conditions over simple claims of effect.
Studies with limited improvement or results that varied with conditions are also treated as important references. Where possible, we provide the source and a link to the original paper so visitors can check the research themselves.
Why do you present fields without in-house test data?
So that the potential and mechanisms of nanobubble technology can be seen even in fields where field validation is still under way.
For the aquaculture, microbial culture and fermentation, food washing, equipment and pipe interior cleaning, and skincare groups, Honour Tech's in-house tests or field demonstrations are in progress. For these fields we first present research papers on the effects of nanobubbles in the same processes.
Because research papers do not directly prove the performance of Honour Tech products, the evidence type is labeled in the case list to distinguish them from our own data. When in-house test or field demonstration results become available, we add them with their test conditions and update the label.
If you are considering an application in a field without our own data, a small-scale comparison test using your actual raw water or samples can confirm the effect first.
Can the results of these cases be expected at other sites?
Similar effects can be expected, but there is no guarantee that previous results will be reproduced exactly at another site.
The effect of nanobubbles depends on the gas and supply rate, water quality, temperature, treatment flow rate, operating time and characteristics of existing equipment. For example, even where oxygen nanobubbles have been shown to improve dissolved oxygen, results can differ if the initial dissolved oxygen and oxygen consumption are different.
Before actual adoption, it is therefore important to confirm the target performance through a comparison test that reflects the customer's raw water or process conditions. Operating stability, energy use and economics should be reviewed along with the technical effect.
Can I receive more detailed test conditions and result data?
We can review and provide technical data that can be disclosed.
Each case page summarizes the information we can disclose, including the test purpose, key operating conditions, basis of comparison, measurement results and limits of interpretation. For research papers, we provide the source and a link to the original wherever possible.
If you need more detailed test data or a technical review, let us know your application, purpose and the data you need. We will check the scope of data we hold, customer confidentiality and disclosure eligibility, and let you know what we can provide.
Verify under real conditions before you adopt. Based on your actual raw water and process conditions, we review feasibility, test methods and evaluation criteria with you.
