When Pongle L is a good fit

  • Sites where the unit cannot go inside the tank because the water is shallow or the opening is narrow
  • Tanks and reservoirs of 5–10 m³ (contact us for larger capacities)
  • Sites with space outside the reservoir for the unit (60 W × 30 D × 60 H cm)

When another option is needed

  • For tanks under 5 m³ or sites with no space around the tank, the submersible type (Pongle S) placed inside the tank
  • For sites that irrigate directly from piping without a storage tank, an HQN configuration connected directly to the piping
  • For tanks over 10 m³, contact us with the capacity

External circulation linked to existing irrigation equipment

A nanobubble circulation line is set up outside the storage tank while keeping the existing irrigation pump and nutrient supply equipment.

Works with existing irrigation

The unit is added outside the reservoir while keeping the existing irrigation pump and nutrient supply unit.

Ground installation outside the tank

Placed outside the reservoir and connected by suction and discharge piping, so it can be used with shallow tanks or tanks with narrow openings.

Oxygen generator included

An oxygen generator is supplied, so no gas supply equipment such as oxygen cylinders is needed.

Strawberry (about 3,300 m²) 15%+ higher yield, larger share of top-grade fruit 2018.09–2019.04 On-farm trial · Measured
Oriental melon (early growth) About 3× root density 2 weeks after transplanting Cultivation test · Observed

Results vary with crop, environment and cultivation method. Cultivation tests were carried out with early prototype equipment; sugar content and firmness are based on farmer experience and published research.

Dissolved oxygen comparison
Category Dissolved oxygen Notes
Ordinary groundwater 7–8 mg/L Raw water
Cultivation test conditions 15–20 mg/L Pepper and fruit-vegetable tests
HEN-010 single pass About 30–35 mg/L
(+25–30 mg/L over raw water)
In-house test · Measured
HQN-010 single pass About 35–40 mg/L
(+30–35 mg/L over raw water)
In-house test · Measured

A single pass is the value after water passes through the unit once. By adjusting operating time, the increase over raw water can be set within 10–40 mg/L for HEN-010 and 10–50 mg/L for HQN-010.

External circulation system linked to existing irrigation equipment

The nanobubble system is installed outside the nutrient tank or raw water reservoir and repeatedly treats the stored water through circulation piping to raise dissolved oxygen. The oxygen nanobubble water is delivered to the growing area through the existing irrigation pump and nutrient supply equipment.

Basic process diagram. The nanobubble system runs on a circulation line independent of the existing irrigation equipment; actual piping and layout depend on tank structure, installation space, treatment flow and site conditions.
  1. Oxygen supply

Oxygen produced by the oxygen generator is supplied to the nanobubble module.

  2. Nanobubble circulation

Water from the storage tank is pumped through the bubble mixer, where oxygen is dissolved, and the treated water returns to the tank.

  3. Linked to existing irrigation

The oxygen nanobubble water is delivered to the growing area through the existing irrigation pump and nutrient supply equipment.

Pongle L FAQ

Answers to key technical and adoption questions when considering Pongle L.

Should I choose the surface-pump type or the submersible type?

If the unit cannot be placed inside the tank, the surface-pump type is the right choice.

The surface-pump type sits on the ground beside the tank and is connected by piping, so space outside the reservoir is needed. For tanks under 5 m³ or sites without space for the unit, consider the submersible type.

What is the difference between HEN-010 and HQN-010?

They differ in bubble type, operating pressure and power supply.

HEN-010 runs on 220 V single-phase at 2.5–2.8 bar and produces both nanobubbles and microbubbles; HQN-010 runs on 380 V three-phase at 4.0–4.5 bar and produces nanobubbles. Treatment flow (10 m³/h), size and oxygen generator (8 L/min) are the same.

Do I need to provide oxygen separately?

An oxygen generator is supplied with the unit.

No separate gas source such as oxygen cylinders is needed. You only need space beside the unit for the oxygen generator (60 W × 40 D cm).

How many hours a day should it run?

Operating time is adjusted to the target dissolved oxygen.

The required run time depends on tank capacity, irrigation volume per cycle and irrigation interval; we advise on operating time for your site conditions at the quotation stage.

Do I need to change my existing nutrient supply or irrigation equipment?

In most cases, existing equipment stays as it is.

The unit is connected to the tank by separate piping and circulates the water, so the irrigation lines are not changed. Space for the unit and power (220 V single-phase for HEN-010, 380 V three-phase for HQN-010) are checked before installation.

Which crops can it be used for?

Tests and trials have been carried out on peppers, fruit vegetables, strawberries, roses and other crops.

Results vary with crop and growing conditions; test conditions and results by crop are available in the case studies.

How do I check the price?

The model depends on tank capacity and irrigation conditions, so pricing is provided by quotation.

We propose a model and supply specification based on your crop, storage tank capacity and irrigation conditions.

How are installation and after-sales service handled?

Delivery and installation take about 2–3 weeks after ordering, and the warranty period is 1 year.

Failures caused by user error are repaired at cost; service requests are accepted via the inquiry form or by phone.
