High-Efficiency Nanobubble System HEN

HEN is a system that generates nanobubbles even at relatively low pressure. Based on low-pressure circulation, it serves high-flow gas supply and water treatment processes.

Applications for HEN

It can be considered for high-volume water processes such as tanks, water bodies and treatment basins.

When HEN is a good fit

  • Tanks, water bodies and treatment basins with large water volumes and long operating hours
  • Sites that need to reduce initial cost and power consumption
  • When running on a standard surface pump is preferred
  • When the required flow matches one of the 4 standard models

When another series fits better

  • To dissolve ozone in water or for high dissolution efficiency, HQN
  • For strict hygiene standards, HTV
  • When raising dissolved oxygen is the only goal, HOA
  • For low flows of 5 L/min or less, the S Series

  1. Target water intake

A standard surface pump draws water from the tank or water body.

  2. Gas mixing and nanobubble generation

Gas suited to the purpose is mixed in and passed through the HEN bubble mixer.

  3. Circulation

The nanobubble water is returned to the same tank or water body for repeated operation.

Sites requiring more than 25 m³/h use multiple units in parallel.

Ozone option

HEN's ozone option is used in processes where ozone reaction is the goal.

When to use
When the goal is ozone reaction rather than dissolving ozone in water

HEN FAQ

Answers to key technical and adoption questions when considering HEN.

What is HEN used for?

It is used for gas supply in high-volume water processes such as tanks, water bodies and treatment basins.

Typical uses are dissolved oxygen supply in aquaculture, agriculture and ponds and lakes, and reinforcing oxygen supply in sewage and wastewater treatment. Flow and gas are reviewed after checking the target water and purpose.

Should I choose HEN or HQN?

HEN, if flows are large and initial cost and power consumption need to be reduced.

HQN is the right choice for dissolving ozone in water or when high dissolution efficiency is needed. HEN runs on a standard surface pump, HQN on a high-pressure pump.

Can ozone be used?

The ozone option is used only where ozone reaction is the goal.

For dissolving ozone in water, we recommend HQN's ozone option. Ozone concentration, off-gas ozone treatment and worker safety conditions are confirmed at the design stage.

Can it handle flows above 25 m³/h?

Multiple units are configured in parallel.

Each model has a fixed rated flow, so the number of units is set by the required flow. Flows not covered by standard models are available as custom builds by arrangement.

Can it be used with existing aeration equipment?

Existing equipment stays in place and runs alongside.

The nanobubble system circulates and treats the stored water to reinforce dissolved gas. Installation location and operating hours are reviewed for each site.
